Following completion of the digitization project of the Minerva Press Photo Archive from Cluj, a project financed by Foundation Romania One, in partnership with Transit Foundation and Minerva Cultural Association from Cluj, the partners are launching the website that will provide unlimited access to the entire press photo archive that once belonged to the newspapers Făclia and Igazság from Cluj. The archive provides the opportunity of free access for students, researchers and the general public to the images taken by professional photographers between 1960 and 1990, paving the way for scientific analysis and interpretation of the collection.
The launch event will be held at Tranzit House in Cluj, 16, George Bariţiu Street, on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 7 p. m. in the presence of all partners involved in the project.
